There are many problems inherent in the Blackberry. There is little or no planning. There is rarely a record of what was done, no record of what was covered in meetings, what so and so said and when he/she said something would be accomplished.
There surely must be very few Blackberry users who have included unifying principles, professional, business and personal goals that can be reviewed daily. I would also imagine that very few Blackberry users have a system for recording expenses and if they do, rarely print them out to have a monthly copy.
You can read your e-mails and respond to them while driving 85 miles an hour while looking ahead with one eye and looking to the rear for the trooper in his unmarked vehicle. So, big, hairy deal. So, no thank you, I am too anal to change. The Day-Timer system has served me well since the early 60s…probably 1961 or 1962 and I am not going to change.

I've used D-T, F-C, and a PDA. When all is said and done, I like my Day-Timer for keeping my calendar and To Do lists. My Treo keeps my Contacts and other reference files I wish to carry with me.
It's hard to beat a Day-Timer!

My boss gave me one of the first palm pilots when they came out. I used it until one day the battery jarred loose and I lost all my data. I hadn't backed up in awhile as my computer was being shipped home. I walked to the kitchen and threw my palm pilot in the garbage. I'm not against technology, but for me, I'm not a big fan of Blackberry's etc. I would probably use a website I can log into if I ever felt the need.

Hmmm, I wonder if this blog is still active. I tend to think probably not, but here is a comment. I have been using Daytimer since about 1982 - sometimes moving away to FC and recently to a Palm Tungsten E. I thought I would use the Palm to do the same things that I used my Daytimer for. I did not. I tried to keep a focus on Unifying principles and Goals, but it just didn't work. My life has been spiraling out of control for the past 5 years as I tried to move to electronic planning. No good!
So I am back to using a Daytimer. It feels good to get back to being active in controlling my events and realizing that my behavior has been incongruous with my principles.
I hope that this blog is being monitored.
I am an original disciple of Charles Hobbs. I took my first Time Power workshop in 1983.
